QP Sports or Quality Performers Limited is a New Zealand company that has exported quality chest guards to the world since 1981, and have been a major influence in female chest protection for a wide variety of sports. Originally the main work was manufacturing cycle and motor cycle helmets. Although chest protector exports started in 1981 sales were minor until 1990 when Martial Arts, then Fencing companies around the world "discovered" first EconoGuard, then later the newer MaxiGuard and CoolGuard. More recently the Paintball sport has discovered the advantages of chest protection from QP Sports.
